Mrs. Marcia Birdsong, 68 died at her home in Florence on Thursday, September 4, 2008. Visitation will be Monday, September 8 from 6 - 7 p.m. prior to a Memorial service at 7 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence.\ \ She is survived by her husband, Walter Birdsong of Florence; sons: Richard Hampton Birdsong of Silver Springs, MD, Walter E. Birdsong, Jr. of Flornece and Kurt Tyler Birdsong of Byram; sister, Brenda Parkman of Flora; 4 grand-daughters.\ \ Donations may be made to Blair E.
