Marcus Barnes Jones

Marcus Barnes Jones died peacefully Friday evening June 27, at his home. Visitation will be from 1pm until the service time of 3pm Sunday June 29, 2008at Chancellor Funeral Home Byram.\ \ Mr. Jones retired from AT&T after 42 years of service, and was a member of Southern Hills Baptist Church in Jackson.\ \ He was preceded in death by his wife of 60 years Dorothy Jones. Survivors in his daughter Marsha Lockhart of Jackson, MS; sister Bobbie Sue Alford of Houston, TX;\ Two brothers Gerald Jones and wife Shirley of Terry, MS, Oswald Jones and wife Linda of Vicksburg, MS; grandson Keith Lockhart and wife Julie of Madison, MS; and many nieces and nephews.\ \ Memorial maybe made to your local animal rescue league.\
