Ms. Margaret Hallam Wade

Margaret Hallam Wade, 84, passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. The family will receive friends for visitation on Saturday, December 15th from 1:00 p.m. until the 3:00 p.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Ms. Wade was born December 9, 1934 in Lincoln, Nebraska to the late Oliver and Cornelia Hallam. She attended the University of Nebraska Arts and Science. She has called Richland home since 2001, moving from Jackson. She retired as a secretary from UMMC after 28 years. In her past time, Ms. Wade enjoyed gardening and spending time with friends and family. Along with her parents, Ms. Wade is preceded in death by her sister, Nancy Burk of Fort Worth, TX. She is survived by her daughters, Sherry Wade of Las Vegas, NV and Stacey Wade of Richland, MS; sister, Linda Kropf of Denver, CO; grandchildren, Gina (Matt) Magee of Brandon, Anna Margaret Miller of Richland, and Matalyn Miller of Richland; and great grandchildren, Makenzie Magee, Meryn Parker Magee, and Maci Kate Miller.
