Ms. Margie Lee Nations

Services for Margie Lee Nations, 33 of Terry will be held December 29, 2014 at 11:00AM at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, with Pastor Delbert Gann presiding. Visitation will be 5 until 8pm Sunday, December 28, 2014 and 10-11am Monday, December 29, 2014 at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Margie was a 1999 graduate of Terry High School; where she was active as a member of the basketball team, as well as, being honored as “Who’s Who Among American High School Students”. She received numerous accolades for both her athletic and academic talents. Margie earned a degree in Kinesiology from Mississippi State University and later received her Registered Nursing degree from the University of Southern Mississippi. Margie worked as a Registered Nurse at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, where she received the DAISY Award For Extraordinary Nurses six times. Margie was a lover of nature, and avid reader, and loved to cook for her friends and family. She was a sweet and kind soul, loved by all who met her. Margie was preceded in death by the late, Henry Wayne Nations, of Oma, MS. Margie is survived by her father and mother, John R. Shealy and Paula Renae Shealy of Terry, MS, her twin sister LaRea Anne Adams and her husband Jason of Byram, MS, her brother Jonathan Paul Shealy and his wife Gretchen of Terry, MS, and her brother Ford Henry Nations of Monticello, MS.
