Marguerite Mcintyre

\ \ \ \ Marguerite McIntyre, 86, died December 24, 2007 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland.\ Visitation is scheduled Thursday, Dec. 27 from 9:00 until the 11:00 A.M. Service time at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will be at Hollywood Cemetery in McComb at 1 p.m.\ Mrs. McIntyre was born August 21, 1921 in Pike County to John Leo McIntyre, Sr. and Hazel Kuyrkendall McIntyre. She retired from the U.S. Government as a Hearing Assistant Court Reporter for the Social Security Federal Court of Appeals.\ Mrs. McIntyre had been living in the Jackson area since 1959. She was a long time member of First Baptist Church of Jackson, and she was a member of Laureate Zeta Chapter of Beta Sigma Phi.\ She was preceeded in death by her parents, four: brothers, Durwood, Donald, John Leo, Jr., and Carl Marcus McIntyre, sisters Marilyn McIntyre Christy, Aline McIntyre and Adele Mcintyre. \ Survivors include two sisters, Emma Ritchie of Jackson, MS and Shirley Thames of McComb, and 9 nieces and nephews.\
