Mrs. Marie Dessie Havens

Marie Dessie Havens, 85, passed away Sunday, November 29, 2015 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-7pm Thursday, December 3, 2015 and 10am until the 11am funeral service Friday, December 4, 2015, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Cedar Lawn Cemetery. Mrs. Havens was longtime resident of Jackson who enjoyed being with her family, shopping and watching western and comedy shows. She is preceded by her husband of over 30 years George Havens; her baby daughter; two brothers Delton & Sonny Smith Survivors included her daughters Peggy Havens and Carlene Havens, both of Jackson; and sister Reba.
