Marie David Trebotich, 83, passed away Sunday, July 4, 2010, at St. Dominic Memorial Hospital. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Tuesday evening and from 1-2 pm Wednesday at St. Therese Catholic Church in Jackson, Miss., with services following at 2 pm. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ A lifelong resident of Jackson, Miss., Mrs. Trebotich was a charter member and greeter at St. Therese Catholic Church. She is a graduate of St. Joseph High School. She began working as a sales clerk at R. C. Brown, and she owned Black Angus Meat. She met here husband of 49 years, Pete Trebotich, and opened Diamond Jewelers. After retirement, she worked with her mother and sister at Jamelia's Ice Cream Parlor.\ \ She is preceded in death by her husband Peter B. Trebotich; parents Waddell and Jamelia David; sister Agnes David; and brother Sidney David.\ \ Mrs. Trebotich is survived by sons Bernie; Paul (Theresa); and Mitchell Trebotich of Jackson, Miss.; daughters Deborah Trebotich of Houston, Texas; and Georgette (Paul) Cerula of Hamilton, Va.; brother Nafe David of Memphis, Tenn.; and uncle George Weber of Pigeon Forge, Tenn.; seven grandchildren, four great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.\ \ Special thanks to Minne, Debbie, Mae, Tara, and Bridgette for their special love and care. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Therese Catholic Church, the Mustard Seed, or Magnolia Speech School.\
