Marjorie went to be with her Lord on Tuesday, October 21, 2014. She was 86, and a native of Jackson, MS. Marjorie was a living wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, and a member of Blackwater United Methodist Church. She was a retired floral designer, having worked many years at Don-Lyn Florist in Zachary, LA. Visitation will be at Chancellor Funeral Home, 7225 Siwell Road, Byram, MS, on Saturday, October 25th from 9:00am until the 10:00am funeral service. Burial will follow in Palestine Cemetery in Simpson County, MS. Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, James D. Turner. She is survived by two sons, William L. “Larry” Turner (Anita) of Alabaster, AL, and J.D. Turner, Jr. (Kay) of Zachary, LA; sister, Sue Stegall; four grandchildren, Christopher (Kelly), Angela, and Jay Turner, and Heather Wascom (Robbie); four great-grandchildren, Davis, Samuel, and Nathaniel Turner, and Jennifer Wascom; and numerous nieces and nephews.
