Mark Mangum

Mark Ivan Mangum, 55, of Ridgeland, formally Laurel, passed away Saturday, April 9, 2011. Visitation will be Friday, April 15 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence from 9am until the 10am memorial service. Burial will follow at Mt Olive Cemetery.\ \ He was a 1973 graduate of R.H. Watkins High School in Laurel, Jones County Junior College, and in 1978 he received a Bachelors of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Southern Mississippi in Hattiesburg. He was owner of Mangum Insurance Management Company.\ \ Mr. Mangum was preceded in death by his parents, Mayo and Wanda Mangum of Laurel. He was survived by his three children, Tasha Mangum-Weeks of Destin, Florida, Kiera Mangum-Sumrall of Brandon and Josh Mangum of Ridgeland; sister, Aimee Mangum Hively of Huntington Beach, CA; and two grandchildren, Kaitlyn and Areanna.\ \
