Marlin Brown Marshall, Sr. 75, passed away Wednesday, April 23, 2008 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. Visitation will be 5-8pm Friday, April 25, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11:00am Saturday in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Oakdale Cemetery in Brandon.\ \ Mr. Marshall had lived most of his life in the Jackson area and was a U.S. Army Veteran of the Korean Conflict. A retired truck driver of 37 years he had worked for Swift & Co., Campbell 66 Express and Carolina Freight. He was a member of Teamsters local # 891. Mr. Marshall loved life and the outdoors.\ \ Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Audean Marshall of Jackson; sons, Marlin Brown Marshall, Jr. and R. Dale Marshall both of Jackson; daughter, Jeannie Robertson of Brandon; brother, Quinton Marshall of Philadelphia; sister, Elizabeth Cumberland of McComb; 4 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.\ \ The family would like to thank friends at Safe Harbor Marina and South Jackson for their help in a difficult time.
