Marsha Dungey

Marsha Herron Dungey, 56, passed away Monday, September 12, 2011 in Cartersville, GA. Visitation will be 4pm until the 6:30pm funeral service Saturday, September 17, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will be 10am Monday, September 19, 2011 at MS Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Newton, MS.\ \ Mrs. Dungey was a native of Sardis, MS, having lived most of her life in South Jackson. She was a graduate of Central High School and Hinds Junior College. Marsha worked most of her life in the medical field before retiring after 12 years with MS DEQ. She and her husband Merl had moved to Knoxville, TN one year ago, and she will be remembered for her kindness and Christian faith.\ \ Survivors include her husband of 21 years Merl Dungey of Knoxville, TN; sons Ben (Mary) Sanders of Star City, AR and Adam (Stephanie) Dungey of Clinton; daughters Shontina (Nathan) Dungey Sanders of Cartersville, GA, Wendi (Rodney) Dungey Scott of Memphis, TN and Erin (Brian) Dungey Porch of Pearl; sisters Vickie Weaver...
