Marshall Cole

Marshall Cole\ Brandon, Mississippi\ \ Ambrose Marshall Cole, 76, died Friday, September 25, 2009, at Crossgates River Oaks Hospital in Brandon, Mississippi. He is survived by his wife of 55 years, Juanita Cole; two daughters, Marilyn Dale (Robert) of Jackson, and Kay Tims (Michael) of Brandon; one brother, Dudley Cole of Toledo, Ohio; numerous nieces and nephews, nine grandchildren, and nine great grandchildren.\ Mr. Cole is preceded in death by his parents, Ambrose S. Cole and Mae Venable Cole, and one son, Marshall Delane Cole.\ Mr. Cole was a Baptist and an active member of Truitt Memorial Baptist Church. He worked for the U. S. Post Office for more than 35 years, and served in the U.S. Army. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and great grandfather.\ Visitation will be from 2 pm to 5 pm, Sunday, September 27, 2009, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. The funeral service will be Monday, September 28, 2009, at 11am at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Rosemont Gardens in Jackson, Mississippi.\
