Martha Marie Anderson Freeman, 79, passed away Thursday, October 15, 2020 at River Oaks Hospital in Flowood. The family will receive friends for visitation from 9:00 until the 11:00 a.m. Memorial Service on Saturday, October 24th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Following the service, she will be interred at Faith Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Freeman was born May 6, 1941 in Gulfport, MS to the late Roy and Louise Anderson. She has lived in Florence for the last 42 years and was a member of Clear Branch Baptist Church. She owned and operated Freemans Corner. She enjoyed painting, gardening, yard work, and she loved shopping. Along with her parents, Mrs. Freeman was also preceded in death by her husband, Randall Freeman; daughter, Traci Johnson; son, Randy Freeman; brother, Roy Anderson, Jr.; and sister, Debra Settlemire. She is survived by her daughters, Tammy (Tony) Beall of Wesson and Staci (Chris) Hancock of Florence; grandchildren, Tara (Tracy) Freeman, Jason (Marie) Freeman, Renee’ (Lee) Thompson, William Jackson, Amber (Daniel) McDonald, and Kurt (Raquel) Johnson; 16 great grandchildren; 8 great great grandchildren; and a host of extended family, friends, and church family.
