Martha Madison

Martha McGowan Madison, 70, passed away Friday, November 30, 2012, at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center. A funeral service will be held at 11 AM Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram with interment in Lakewood South Memorial Park. Visitation is 5-8 PM Sunday as well as 10-11 AM Monday at the funeral home.\ \ Mrs. Madison was a lifelong resident of Jackson and a member of Highpoint Baptist Church. She spent the majority of her life in the banking industry, serving as an officer with Deposit Guaranty, but her main focus was on her family. She always put her family first, both immediate and extended.\ \ Mrs. Madison is survived by her husband of 52 years, Jerry Madison of Jackson; son, Tommy Madison of Brandon; daughter, Michelle Madison Wilson of Brandon; sisters, Helen Sanford of Thomastown, Bunnie Brown of Terry, and Alice Harrelson of Raymond. She is also survived by seven grandchildren: Madison Wilson, Morgan Wilson, Michael Wilson, Tyler Madison, Hunter Madison, Zach Madison, and Eli Madison.\
