Mrs. Mary "Louise" Blackwell

Mary Louise Blackwell, 84, passed away Tuesday, March 10, 2015 at St. Dominic Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be 9:30-11am Saturday, March 14, 2015 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral Services will begin at 11am Saturday followed by interment at Lakewood South. Mrs. Blackwell lived most of her life in the South Jackson area. She was manager of Harts Baker for years and retired from Blackwell Chevrolet where she was switchboard operator for 21 years. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years V.H. “Bud” Blackwell and son Kenneth Blackwell. Survivors include her son Buddy R. (Loreta) Blackwell of Terry; daughter Rhonda (Al) Conerly of Terry; brother James Taylor of Simpson County; sisters Bobbie Scott of Utica, Lucy Craft of Brandon and Macy Cody of Pinola; grandchildren Beau Blackwell and Mindy (Chris) Beard; great grandsons Brayden & Colton Beard.
