Mrs. Mary Harbour

Mary Harbour, 81, went home to be with the Lord early on Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be Monday, September 14th from 6-8 PM and Tuesday, September 15th from 10 AM until the 11 AM Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow at Crestview Memorial Gardens in Brandon. We are grieving our loss together as a family and also celebrating her loving spirit, compassionate ways, crazy playfulness and generous welcoming attitude to any and all. Everybody became family when they walked in her house. Our mother was born to be a mother, it was her calling and she loved it. Her children consider themselves most humbly blessed to be the recipients of that kind of mothering all our lives. Our dad lost his best friend, lover and soul mate. Mary was a homemaker, the best wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many. She will be greatly missed by us all. She was survived by her husband of 64 years, Bobby Klien Harbour; 4 children, Pat Yates (Jim), Debbie Davis (Charlie), Ricky Harbour (Abby Losack) and Jody Harbour (Judy); 11 grandchildren, Karen, Michael, Tim, Daniel, Robbie, Mary Beth, Klien, Rebekah, Dakota, Lee, and Chandler; 20 great grandchildren and sister, Bonnie Taylor of Madison, AL. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
