Ms. Mary Beth Hester

Mary Beth Hester, 57, died Thursday, June 4, 2020 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. The family will receive friends Saturday, June 6, 2020 beginning 9:00 am-10:00 am followed by the Funeral Service at 10 am in the Chapel of Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence, MS. Interment will follow in the Garden of Memories in Florence, MS. Mary Beth was born in Jackson, MS on July 26, 1962 to Climmons and Erma McMillian Hester. She was a faithful member of Raymond Road Baptist Church. She worked for several years at Allstate Insurance, Southern Farm Bureau, World Comm and several other businesses. She had people skills, was a social butterfly, an encourager and cared about others. She was extremely easy to love. Along with her parents, Mary Beth is also preceded in death by her grandchildren, Austin and Taylor. Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Madison Swedenberg of McComb; daughters, Monica (Matthew) Crane of Hattiesburg and Morgan Swedenburg of Magee; brother, Danny (Marsha) Hester of Conway, AR.; sisters, Sheila Russell of Pearl, Miriam Jeffords of Jackson, Lorri (Wayne) Williams of Flower Mound, TX; sister in law, Ann Hester of Conway, AR; and grandchildren, Lucy, Jacob and one on the way. The family requests no flowers be sent, and Memorials be made to Hospice Ministries, Boswell Regional Center, or The River, 406 West Beacon Street, Philadelphia, MS 39350.
