Mary Lou McLellan, 87, passed away peacefully on Sunday, October 21, 2018 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland, MS. A Memorial Service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, October 24th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence with visitation beginning at 1:00 p.m. Mrs. McLellan was born on April 1, 1931 in Port Gibson, MS to the late Lee Jackson and Dera Anna Farmer Ainsworth. She was raised in Jackson before making Florence her home 25 years ago, where she became a member of First Baptist Church of Florence. “Mama Henry”, as she was commonly known enjoyed volunteering in the Food Pantries in Florence and Richland. In addition to her parents, Mrs. McLellan is also preceded in death by her husbands Wesley Henry of 9 years and Percy “Mac” McLellan of 50 years; and her sister, Eva Nell Ravarino. She is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Ann Reis of Florence; sons, Johnny (Brenda) Henry of Harrisville and Tommy (Sue) Henry of Clinton; brother, Bob Ainsworth of Jackson; 4 grandchildren, Robbie Lee (Sandra) Quick, Mark (Emily) Reis, Julie Reis, and Holly Henry; and 6 great grandchildren, Brady Reis, Leland Henry, Eli Quick, and Daylee, Kendal and Malachi Wilder.
