Mary Martin

Mary Lucille Martin,84 , passed away Monday, July 25, 2011 at her home in Florence.\ Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, July 26, 2011 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram.\ Services will be 2pm Thursday, July 28, in the funeral home chapel with a one hour visitation prior to the service. Interment will follow at Lakewood South.\ \ Mrs. Martin was a life long resident of the Hickory Ridge Community of Florence. She was a member of MS Quilt Association and other clubs and was known throughout the community as a great cook. Mrs. Martin was a member of Hickory Ridge Baptist Church.\ \ She is preceded in death by her daughter Suzy Hernandez of Blum, TX.\ \ Survivors include her husband of 66 years John Dickey Martin of Florence; sons Dickey (Ann) Martin of Wesson, Danny (Linda) Martin of Florence and Miles Martin, Sr. of Florence; daughters Joan (George) Alliston of Brandon, Terisa (Roger) Lane of Mobile, AL, Denise Steadham of Jackson and Angela Rose of Florence; grandchildren Matt Alliston, James Martin, Butch Martin, Nicole Pybus, Joe Martin, Tammy Andrews, Toya Gilbert, Lindsey Cain, Megan Barlett, Amanda Purvis, Miles Martin, Jr., Dustin Martin, Jessica Martin, Brandi Ashley, Scott Hernandez and 24 great grandchildren.\
