Mary Eloise Bledsoe Orman, 89, passed away Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at Plain View Assisted Living in Richland. Visitation will be 5-7pm Friday, August 14, 2015 and 9am until the 10am Funeral Service Saturday, August 15, 2015, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood Memorial Park. Mrs. Orman was born in Meridian, MS to the late Thomas Franklin Bledsoe and Emma Mae McClendon Bledsoe. She had lived in Jackson since 1961, retiring from Bell South after 35 years of service. Mrs. Orman enjoyed quilting, gardening, crocheting and was a former member of McDowell Rd. Baptist Church and Raymond Rd. Baptist Church where she was a member of the Joy Sunday School Class. She is preceded in death by her husband Melvin Orman and brothers James T. Bledsoe, Albert C. Bledsoe, Nathan L. Hinton and William S. Hinton. Survivors include her daughter Crystal Gaddis of Florence; sister Juanita Boling of Jacksonville, FL; grandchildren Michael (Linsay) Gaddis of Braxton and Jennifer Gaddis of Alabaster, AL; great grandchilden Kali, Kyle and Kayden.
