Mrs. Mary Blanche Scarbrough

Mary Blanche Scarbrough, passed away on November 26, 2016, at Villa South in Florence. Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:00 AM on Tuesday, November 29,2016, with Funeral Services to follow at 11:00 AM in the Chapel at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will be at Florence Cemetery. Mrs. Scarbrough was a lifelong resident of Florence/Richland area and a member of First Baptist Church of Florence. She worked for Sellers Motor Company for 30 years. She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Scarbrough; her parents, Sidney and Lurline Thornton; and brother, Henry Thornton. She is survived by her only son, Sidney Paul Scarbrough of Florence; two grandchildren, Paige (Daryl) Bridges of Harrisville and Sid (Beth) Scarbrough of Florence; six great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
