Mrs. Mary Belding Smith

Mary Louise Belding Smith, 82, passed away Wednesday, February 19, 2014 at MS Baptist Hospital in Jackson. Visitation will be Saturday, February 22nd from 11 am until the 1 pm funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Mrs. Smith has lived in Florence for 2 years, moving from Jackson. She is a member of Alta Woods Baptist Church in Jackson. She enjoyed gardening, loved to laugh and was a caregiver for the elderly. Her daughters, who were her life, knew her as a beautiful person and a loving mother. Mrs. Smith is preceded in death by her parents, Coy and Tiny Belding; brothers, Carl and Ben Belding; and her husband, Seth “Bo” Smith. She is survived by her daughters, Pamela K. Smith of Pearl and Wanda (John) Mason of Florence; 2 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
