Mrs. Mary Brewer Walters

Mary Kissara Brewer Walters, 76, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, January 24, 2019 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-7pm Sunday, January 27, 2019 and again on Monday, January 28 from 10am until the 11am funeral service, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery. Mrs. Walters lived the last 21 years in Raymond, having come from Jackson. She loved walking around the house and enjoyed cross word puzzles and coloring. Mrs. Walters worked as a Nurses Aide at St. Dominic Hospital for many years and also worked at Walmart for several years. She was a member of Griffith Memorial Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her father, Walter Clay Brewer; son, Ronald Levangie and sister, Barbara Maddox. Survivors include her mother, Minnie Mae Burke of Jackson; husband, Nelson Bob Walters of Raymond; daughters, Kim Marie Levangie of Raymond and Pamela Brock (James) of the Gulf Coast; son, Troy Walters of North Jackson; sisters, Carolyn Byran and Terrie Burke both of Jackson; brothers, Walter Brewer (Mary) of Cleary Heights and Wayne Brewer (Jennifer) of Clinton; a number of nieces & nephews.
