Mary Lou Arender

Mary Lou Arender, 92, passed away Monday, September 26, 2011 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 28th at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence from 5-8 pm and Thursday, September 29th from 1pm until the 2 pm service in the Chapel. Burial will follow at Antioch Cemetery.\ \ Mrs. Arender was a lifelong resident of the Harrisville area and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Coley Arender.\ \ She is survived by her 4 grandchildren, Tammy Dickson of Edmond, OK, Bo Dossett of Salt Lake City, UT, Pam Nantz of Buford, GA, and Debra Hyatt of Oakwood, GA; 6 great grandchildren, Crystal Pearson of Florence, Brittany Dickson of Dallas, TX, Brook Dickson of Edmond, OK, Joshua Dossett of Pearl, Jordan Dickson of Edmond, OK, and Caden Nantz of Buford, GA; and one great-great grandchild, James Pearson of Florence, MS.; 8 sisters, Wilma Bridges of Harrisville, Gettis Paul of Harrisville, Mae Ellis Vance of Pearl, Grace Shivers of Harrisville, Lottie Barrett of Brandon, Sally Greer of Crystal Springs, Anita Smiley of Harrisville and Barbara Mullins of Harrisville; \
