Mr. Matthew Corey Brandies

Matthew Brandies Utica Matthew Corey Brandies., 28, passed away Wednesday, June 18, 2014. Visitation will be from 11:00am-2:00pm Tuesday, June 24, 2014. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm following the Visitation at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. A graveside service will follow at Pine Bluff Community Cemetery in Dentville, MS. Mr. Brandies was born in Jackson, and had resided in Utica for the last 2 years after coming from Clinton. As a child he enjoyed racing BMX bicycles. Matthew was employed by Capital Concrete Cutting as a professional cutter. He was a loving father who treasured his precious daughter, Falyn. He also cherished his time spent with his nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father, John Oliver Brandies. Survivors include his mother, Martha Wiggins of Utica; daughter, Falyn Nicole Brandies of Indiana; and brother, Chris Brandies of Utica.
