Mattie Kelso

Mattie Kelso, 72, went home to be with the Lord Saturday, January 28, 2012. Visitation is 5-8 p.m. Monday, January 30, 2012 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence and 9-10 a.m. Tuesday at Cleary Baptist Church. Services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Tuesday at the church with burial to follow in the church cemetery.\ \ Mattie retired after many years of service with the MS Public Health Workers Federal Credit Union. She loved her church and faithfully served in the nursery for over 20 years. Most importantly, she enjoyed spending as much time as she could with her grandson.\ \ Mattie was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Buddy Davis.\ \ She is survived by her daughter, Tanya Milne and her husband, Richard; grandson, Richard Milne III; sister-in-law, Chris Davis; and nieces, Kim Oglesby and Jennye Greer.\ \ In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cleary Baptist Church.\ \ The family would like to express their appreciation for the care given her by Dr. Nicole Cleveland and her staff and the staff of Mississippi Homecare. \ \ The family guestbook may be signed at www.chancellorfuneralhome.com. \
