Maury Mcpherson

Maury Durette McPherson, Sr., 59 died at MS Baptist Medical Center on September 28, 2010. Visitation will be Thursday, September 30, 2010 from 5-8 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with interment following in Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mr. McPherson was a Shriner-Master Mason. He was preceded in death by his mother, Patty Jo McPherson.\ \ He is survived by his wife of 35 years, Janet McPherson; father, Dwight N. McPherson of Terry; sons: Maury McPherson, Jr. and wife, Lynette and Dwight McPherson; daughter, Melissa Bynum all of Florence; grandchildren: L.T. Troth, II and wife Karen, Timothy Troth, Mike Troth, April McPherson, Hope McPherson, Maury McPherson, III, Amanda Bynum, Conner Bynum and Mia Bynum and 2 great grandchildren: Christopher Troth and Austin Hogan.\ \ In Lieu of flowers memorials are requested to Shiner Hospital or American Cancer Society. \
