Mrs. Maysel O'Neal Richards

Maysel O’Neal Richards, 89, passed away Friday, June 6, 2014 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Saturday, June 7 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 2:30pm Sunday, June 8 at Mt. Olivet Methodist Church in Bentonia, MS, with a one hour visitation prior to service time. Interment will in the church cemetery. Mrs. Richards was born in Yazoo County, MS on November 11, 1924. She worked in Telephone Pharmaceutical Sales for 50 years, retiring at age 70. Mrs. Richards had lived in Crystal Springs for the past 21 years having come from Jackson and was a member of Mt. Olivet Methodist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband B.A. Richards, Jr.; parents Roy & Jessie Martin; brother Roy Glenn Martin and sister Kathryn Carpenter. Survivors include her son Bob (Shirley) Richards of Florence; daughter Mary Wilkinson of Crystal Springs; sister Loris Grey of Yazoo City; grandchildren Kristi Richards and Allen & Brian Wilkinson; great grandchildren Brady, Tanner, Madalyn and Alex Wilkinson.
