Michael Judson Brooks Jr.

Michael Judson Brooks Jr., 16, was born on September 10^th, 2007, in Flowood, MS, and went to be with his Heavenly Father on December 7^th, 2023. He is survived by his mother and father, Ashley & Michael Brooks, brother,  Matthew Brooks, sister Destiny Holtzer, paternal grandmother Rachel Brooks-Kennon, maternal grandparents Joey and Cindy Daniels, Aunt Amanda Daniels, Uncles Leslie Brooks and David Cassidy, and numerous cousins. The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday, December 12th, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS. The Celebration of life service for Michael will be held on Wednesday, December 13th, at 11:00 a.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service at Pinelake Church in Brandon, MS with the internment following at Lakeland Place Memorial Park in Brandon, MS.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather William Judson Brooks, Jr., and Aunts Melissa Brooks-Kahl and JoAnna Daniels.

Michael enjoyed hunting and fishing, and cars, but his passion was cars. He loved hotrods, racecars, and anything that went fast. This is a passion that Michael shared with his daddy since he could walk and talk and to his surprise his mama knew a little about them too! Michael’s passion only grew as he got older. He also loved his 4-wheeler, Green Bean and his S10 that was given to him by his PawPaw Bill.

Michael loved his family and friends beyond measure, and he would do anything for anyone. His contagious smile and quirky comments brought everyone who knew him endless joy every day. Michael brought so much light into this world
