Mr. Michael Duane Durst

Michael Duane Durst, 45, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. A Memorial Service will be held 11am Saturday, March 5, 2016 at the Carmelite Monastery Chapel located at 2155 Terry Road, Jackson, MS 39204. Mr. Durst was born in New Orleans, LA and lived the last 36 years in Jackson. He was a graduate of Wingfield High School and Millsaps College, with his career in retail and banking. He was also a parishioner of St. Therese Catholic Church. He is preceded in death by his father Robert Tony Durst. Survivors include his mother Evelyn Durst of Jackson; brother Justin Durst of Utica; sisters Dianne M. Cochran and Toni E. Durst both of Ft. Worth. TX; a number of aunts, uncles and cousins.
