Michael Higgins Sr.

Michael Higgins Sr. passed away on Tuesday, November 14, 2023, in Jackson, MS. He was 63 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation from 10:00 a.m.-11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 20, 2023, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A graveside service will follow at Terry Cemetery in Terry, MS.

Michael was born on February 1, 1960, in Morton, MS. He loved to fish and watch football. He also enjoyed music videos. Michael was always telling jokes and enjoyed making people laugh. But above all else he loved his family, especially his grandchildren.

Michael is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years, Mary Lynn Higgins.  He is survived by his daughters, Tina Brown (Shane) of Akerman, MS and Cheryl Higgins of Richland, MS; son, Michael Higgins Jr. (Courtney Clendenon) of Brandon, MS; sisters, Patricia Ezelle of Morton, MS and Sarah Coward of Forest, MS.; and 9 grandchildren.
