Mr. Michael "Mike" Duane Carroll

Michael “Mike” Duane Carroll, 63, passed away Saturday, October 7, 2017 at his home in Terry. Visitation will be 5-8pm Tuesday, October 10, 2017 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Wednesday, October 11 at Wynndale Baptist Church with a one hour visitation prior to service at the church. There will be a private family burial. Mike, born in Jackson, MS lived in Houston, TX for over 35 years where he worked in highway, civil and industrial construction. He lived in Terry for the past 12 years after retiring from the construction industry. Mike was a faithful member of Wynndale Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his father Henry Claiborn Carroll, Jr., mother, Maddie Irene Peacock Husbands; paternal grandparents Crisler & Ida Mae Mullins; maternal grandparents, Johnson A. & Bessie S. Peacock. Survivors include his wife Annette Carroll of Terry; step-sons, Gary (Misty) Medina of Mansfield, GA and John (Marlene) Medina of Kosciusko; daughter, Kelly (Mo) Cameron of Brandon; step-father “Dad” Tony Husbands of Terry; sister, Michele (Rick) Rogers of Independence, MO; one very special granddaughter, Mollie along with 11 other beautiful grandchildren and three great grandsons; his nephews Joe & Philip Rogers and their families.
