Mr. Michael "Mike" Alan Sims

Michael “Mike” Alan Sims, 64, passed away Monday, February 29, 2016 at Houston Methodist Medical Center in Houston, TX. Visitation will be Thursday, March 3rd from 4-8 PM at First Baptist Church of Richland and Friday, March 4th from 10 AM until the 11 AM funeral service at First Baptist Church of Richland. Burial will follow in Richland Cemetery. Mr. Sims was a life-long resident of the Richland and Florence areas and was a member of First Baptist Church in Richland. He was the owner of Sims Plumbing and was an avid outdoorsman. Mike is survived by his wife, Dale Sims; mother, Betty Sue Peavy; and brothers, Dean (Odessa) Sims, Jeff (Lana) Sims, Van (Erin) Sims, and Russ (Cindy) Sims.
