Mr. Michael Austin Vandiver

Michael Austin Vandiver, 68, passed away on Thursday, December 03, 2020 at his home in Edwards, MS. He will be interred at Terry Cemetery. Due to the current pandemic, the family will have a private service. Mr. Vandiver was born to Ed Vandiver and Portia Ross Vandiver on February 18, 1952 in Corinth, MS. A resident of Edwards for more than 35 years, he was employed with the Army Corps of Engineers as a cartographer. He spent most of his time working and providing for his family, but his grandchildren were his life. In his spare time, Michael enjoyed being outdoors—doing yardwork and fishing. He is survived by his loving wife, Delma Vandiver; sons, Josh (Jackie) Vandiver of Richmond, VA, Jared (Leslie) Vandiver of Madison, and Matthew Vandiver of Edwards; sisters, Jean (Charles) Wasson of Columbia, TN and Sue (Charles) Gammel of Utica; and grandchildren, Mason Green and Kate, Allie, Maddie, and Graham Vandiver.
