Mickey Jeanne Harris-Turner

Ms. Mickey Harris-Turner passed into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, November 27, 2022, at Baptist Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi. She was 72 years old. The family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, December 2^nd from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Funeral services will be at 1:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home with Burial following in the Garden of Memories.

Ms. Mickey was born on August 15, 1950 to the late Clifton Earl Harris and Genevra Patterson. She was a member of St. Peters Catholic Church where she loved serving the Lord. She had a servant’s heart. She was an RN for 35 years. It was her passion. She loved to travel, having family get togethers, going through her family lineage and spending time in Natchez. She went every opportunity she could get.

She is survived by her son, Matthew Turner of Brandon; daughters, Tiffany Withers (Richard) of Magee and Amy Steel of Brandon; sister, Judy Wallace (Keith) of Florence; grandchildren; Kaitlyn Caldwell (Lauren Lam bright), Whitney Steel (Austin Smith), Tyler Steel (Amanda), Payton Page, Madison Withers, Gage Turner; great grandchildren, Gunner Caldwell, Owen Smith and not yet born, Kodi Steel. In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to St. Peters Catholic Church.
