Mildred Alderson

Mrs. Mildred Alderson, 72, of Terry, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, September 25, 2010 at her home. Visitation is 5-8pm Sunday and 10-11am Monday at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Funeral services are 11am Monday at the funeral home with burial following at Springridge UMC cemetery. \ \ A lifelong resident of the Wynndale area, Mrs. Alderson was graduate and voted Miss Byram High, Class of 1956. She was a charter member of Wynndale Presbyterian Church. Mrs. Alderson loved gardening, birds and spending time with her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents Green and Adelle Spencer and sister, Jeanette Hutchins.\ \ She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Gafford Alderson, of Terry; son, Clay Alderson (Kim) of Meridian; daughters, Jana Thomas (Jimmy) of Terry, Kim Prather (Robert) of Terry and Amber Waller of Flowood; 10 grandchildren, Joseph, Axton, Emily, Bailey, Tyler, Wendy, Ryan, Kaisey, Thomas, and Sela; one great grand child, Haven; brother, Grady Spencer, of...
