Mrs. Mildred Annette "Net" Bishop

Mildred Annette “Net” Bishop, 76, passed away Friday, April 7, 2017 at her home in Pearl. Visitation will be Tuesday, April 11th from 5-8 p.m. and Wednesday, April 12th from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. Funeral Service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories. Net was raised in Yazoo City and was a longtime resident of Rankin County. She was a member of Jackson Revival Center for over 40 years and retired from General Motors after 27 years with them. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed cooking, playing Bingo and listening to music. Mrs. Bishop is preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Rosa Ward; daughters, Rebecca Diane Watkins; great grandson, Bryson Bolton; 1 brother and 5 sisters. She is survived by her children, Sandra Huffman, Patricia Holt, Thomas Mitchell, Jr, Shirley Mitchell and Eddie Ray Mitchell; 14 grandchildren, 33 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and her husband, Edwin Bishop.
