Mrs. Mildred Walker Majure

Mildred Walker Majure, 90, of Sebastopol, MS passed away August 18, 2013 at St. Dominic’s Hospital surrounded by family. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20th from 5-8 PM and Wednesday, August 21st from 10am till the 11am funeral service at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. She was born May 31, 1923 to Tom and Drucille Byrd in Clear Branch, MS. She is preceded in death by her parents; late husbands, Frank Walker and Earl Majure; brother, D.B. Byrd; sister, Nell Sheppard; and grandson, Wade Fisher. She is survived by her son, Joe (Sue Ann) Walker of Sebastopol, MS; daughters, Nikki Parish of Florence, MS and Gennie Sumrall of Houma, LA; 7 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild; brothers, William Byrd of Florida and Thomas “Ham” Byrd of Florence. In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Clear Branch Cemetery Fund.
