Miriam Heard Watts, 83 , passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2010, at Chadwick Nursing Home in Jackson. Visitation will be 5-8pm Wednesday, May 5, 2010, at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Services will be 11am Thursday, May 6, 2010, in the funeral home chapel followed by interment at Lakewood Memorial Park.\ \ Mrs. Watts was born October 29, 1926, in Yazoo County, MS to Willie Chester and Amanda Heard. She had lived in the Jackson area for 50 years and worked as a bookkeeper for Riverwood International. She was a member of Oak Forest Baptist Church.\ \ Survivors include her husband George Davis Watts of Jackson; son Dayle Alan Watts (Monti) of Pearl; daughter Deborah Watts Battle (Robert) of Flowood; brother Ray Heard of Bolton; sisters Audrey Faye Heard and Barbara Heard Patterson both of McComb; 5 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren.\ \
