Myrna Weber Lea, 82, of Clinton, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, January 6, 2023. She was born on May 4, 1940, to the late James M. and Alice Lavonia (Taylor) Weber. Myrna graduated from Provine High School in 1959. She worked at the Mississippi College of Law and the Mississippi Institution of Higher Education. Mrs. Lea was a member at Southside Assembly of God church. Myrna was a very talented piano player and ballroom dancer. She grew up loving to ski, as well as bowl at her father’s bowling alley, The Cotton Bowl. She was an avid cook and an excellent event planner. She loved to be surrounded by her family and made sure to always share a piece of her heritage. Her home and heart were always open to all.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Alice Lavonia Weber; husband, Major Lea; and brothers, Rudy Weber and Ricky Weber.
She is survived by her children, Pam Grillis (Kyle) of Brookhaven; Ronny Lea of Clinton; Bobby Lea of Brandon; Jamie Welch of Raymond; and Tammy Patterson (Robert) of Chattanooga, TN; 13 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren; and many beloved nieces, nephews and extended family.
She was a loyal, caring, talented, loving, and spunky woman who was loved by many and will be missed by all.

A Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, March 4, 2:30 pm at Southside Assembly of God in Wilson Hall.
