Mrs. Myrtle Christine Thomas

Myrtle Christine Thomas, 94, passed away Sunday, May 27, 2018 at Merit Health Rankin in Brandon, MS. Visitation will be 10am until the 11am funeral service Thursday, May 31, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Mrs. Thomas was a longtime resident of Jackson and member of Alta Woods Baptist Church and former member of McDowell Rd. Baptist. She was a member of the Eastern Star-Levell Woods Lodge, enjoyed yard work and retired from the Hinds County Sheriff’s Dept. She is preceded in death by her husband, J.B. Thomas. Survivors include her step-son Jerry “Joe” Thomas (Lois) of Byram; step-daughter, Francis Reynolds (Willie) of Pelahatchie and several nieces and nephews.
