Nancy Blanton

\ Nancy Carolyn Blanton, 69, passed away on Friday, February 10, 2012 at Hospice Ministries in Ridgeland. Family and Friends will gather Sunday, February 12th from 2- 3:30 pm to remember and celebrate her life. \ \ Nancy was born September 27, 1942. She graduated from Florence High School and spent most of her life in the Richland and Florence area. Nancy worked for Gayfer's, McRae's, and Belk before retiring. \ \ Mrs. Blanton was preceded in death by her husband, Carlis Robert Blanton and by her parents, Lemual and Pauline Smith. She is survived by her son, Robert Mitch Blanton of Gainesville, FL; her sisters, Jeanette Bethaney of Laurence, MS and Helen Lawrence of Florence, MS; and by her brother, Curtis Smith of Florence.\
