Ms. Nancy Busby

Mrs. Nancy Jo Busby, 75, went to be with the Lord on Monday, May 9, 2022 in Byram Mississippi. Visitation will be Thursday, May 12, 2022 from 11am – 1pm with a service at 1pm, all at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS. Burial will follow at Rosemont Gardens Memorial Park in Jackson, MS. Mrs. Nancy Jo Busby was born on January 12, 1947 to the late Richard and Maxie McGowan. She loved her family, bridge, The Antique Club, and gardening. She was a great seamstress. She loved going to her son’s baseball games, and then her grandchildren’s games. She was a very caring person, always willing to give to others and never wanted to leave anyone out. She was a God-fearing woman who loved the Lord. Mrs. Nancy Busby is preceded in death by her parents, Richard McGowan and Maxie (Johnny) Mobley. Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Holly (Ken) Bowman of Hazlehurst, MS; son, Wayne Busby of Daytona Beach, FL; sisters, Brenda Ainsworth and Pat Mobley; grandchildren, Dalton (Savannah) Busby, Dylan Busby, Emily (Chad) Buford, and Bo (Krystal) Buford; and great-grandchildren, James Colton Brown, Maelee Grace Brown, Ann Baylee Buford, and Brody Buford.
