Mrs. Nancy Adeline Murray

Nancy Adeline Murray, 85, passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 at MS Baptist Medical Center in Jackson, MS. The family will receive friends for visitation on Sunday, December 8, 2019 from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. A Graveside Service will follow at 2:30 p.m. at Glenwood Memorial Park in Richland. Mrs. Murray was born December 7, 1933 to William and Mary Annie Meredith in Recovery, GA. She lived most her life in Florence where she was a member of Briar Hill Baptist Church. While she worked several different jobs, teaching was her true passion. She loved a good challenge, which made her good at computer games, card games and family games. Along with her parents, Mrs. Murray is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Paige McLendon and several brothers and sisters. She is survived by her husband, Keith Murray of Florence; son, Donal Ray Jones, Jr. of Richland; daughters, Deborah “Debbie” Kornegay of Richland and Kathy McLendon of Florence; stepdaughter and Becky Booker (Tony) of Florida; grandchildren, Dawn Frazier (Shane), Chris Jones (Devin), Kellie Daniels, and Amanda Kornegay; step-granddaughter, Randi Gray; great grandchildren, Abbie Keith, Taylor Wayne Keith, Haley Frazier, Brooke Frazier, Alana Daniels, Gage Daniels, Cassidy Daniels, Colby Jones and Cooper Jones; one great great granddaughter, Ali; sister, Edna Sizemore and brother, Major Williams.
