Naomi Ward Hines

Ruth Naomi Ward Hines went to be with the Lord on February 23, 2023.  She was born to Leo Guy Ward and Ann Eliza Fowler on October 29, 1930.  She married Frederick L. Hines on October 21, 1949.  They operated a family business for 53 years.  She loved the Lord and attended First Baptist Church of Terry, MS. 

She was preceded in death by her parents and all her siblings, 3 sisters and 2 brothers.  Remaining is her loving husband of 73 years, Frederick L. Hines; a daughter, Doris Kay Ferguson (Carl) of Terry, MS; a son, Frederick W. Hines (Regina) of Benton, KY; a sisters-in-law, Mary Chun of Thomastown, MS, and Peggy Jenkins (Frank) of Kosciusko, MS.  Along with those are 4 grandchildren, eight great grandchildren and three great, great grandchildren.

Services will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram.  Visitation from 10 am until the hour of service at 11 am in the Chapel.  Interment at Lakewood Memorial Park in Jackson, MS, following the service.
