Nell McWilliams, 86, (she would have been 87 on her birthday, June 7) passed away after a short illness, Sunday, May 20, 2018 at Forrest General Hospital in Hattiesburg. Visitation will be 12 noon until the 3pm funeral service, Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram. Interment will follow at Lakewood South. Ms. McWilliams was born in Canton, MS to the late Guy Anthony Alexander and Lyda Kirkland Alexander. She had lived in Clinton 25 years ago, having come from South Jackson. Her favorite thing in life was being a mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved to laugh and share the Gospel and was a past member and President of A.B.W.A. Ms. McWilliams had worked at Jackson Blueprinting, Micro Printing, Standard Roofing and was an active member of First Baptist Church of Byram. She also enjoyed many years of fun and fellowship with her group of friends “The UNOS”! She is preceded in death by her sister, Mary Evelyn Holiday. Survivors include her son, Guy McWilliams of Raymond; daughter, Rachel (Henry) Patrick of Hattiesburg; grandchildren, Rebekah (Chris) Regan, Ben (Holly) Patrick and John McWilliams; great grandchildren, Preslie Jane, Levi Patrick, Ivie Gray, Jacob Alexander, and her baby on the way “Tadpole”.
