Nelson "Bob" Walters

Nelson “Bob” O’Neal Walters, 79, passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at his home in Raymond, MS. Visitation will be held at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram, MS on Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of the service at 1:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Terry Cemetery in Terry, MS.

Nelson was born on September 03, 1942 to Thomas and Retha Walters. He was a hard-worker who enjoyed his career as a truck driver. In his spare time, he loved working around the house.

Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Kissara Walters; son, Ron Levangie; and siblings, Thomas Jefferson Walters, Forrest Walters, Cammie Louise Shields, and Judy Rowell. He is survived by son, Troy O’Neal Walters of Jackson; daughters, Pam Brock (James) of Perkinston and Kim Levangie of Raymond; and sisters, Betty Joyce Carter, Dorothy “Dot” Lee Grantham, Carolyn “Trish” Patricia Olson, and Alma “Tiny” Louise Riley.
