Norman Lee "Buddy" Nix\ Harrisville\ \ Norman Lee "Buddy" Nix, 74, died Friday, November 28, 2008 at his residence.\ Visitation was Sunday, November 30, 2008 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Florence. Services are 11:00 A.M. Monday, December 1, 2008 at the funeral home chapel with burial at Lodebar Methodist Church Cemetery in Pelahatchie.\ \ Buddy was born in Tracy City, TN a son of the late Fred and Jessie Thomas Nix. He was a U.S. Navy veteran serving in the Korean Conflict. He was a retired truck driver and loved to go camping.\ \ Survivors include daughters Darlene Kennedy (Mack) of Florence, Terrie Peterson (Ed) of Wisconsin, Martha Nix of Florida and Sandra Temple (Henry) of Florence; sons: Henry Wilson (Sally) of Florida and Richard Wilson, Jr. (Sarah) of Florida; loving companion, Margie Henley of Jackson; 16 Grandchildren; 11 Great-grandchildren and 1 Great-great-grandchild. \
