Odie Kelly

Vernon Olen "Odie" Kelly, 63, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2009 at his home in Byram under hospice care. Visitation will be 5pm until the 7pm funeral service Friday, June 26, 2009 at Chancellor Funeral Home in Byram.\ \ \ Mr. Kelly was born April 15, 1946 in Jackson and had lived in Byram for the last 2 years having come from Petal. He was Assistant Administrator at Pine Grove Behavioral Center and member of Lakeshore Methodist Church. Mr. Kelly enjoyed hunting, fishing and watching baseball.\ \ He is preceded in death by his son Jason Kelly and brother Joe Kelly. Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Donna Kelly; son Shane Kelly (Aimee); step-son, Steve Cermak; step-daughter, Shelly Smith (Kenneth) and 4 grandchildren.\
