Mrs. Oneda Wilkes

Oneda Wilkes went home to be with her Lord & Savior 2/9/16 @ 9:08 surrounded by her family. Born June 22. 1922 in Blytheville, AR. She was preceded in death by father, Jeffery, mother, Mertie Langston & two sisters, Madge Lockhart & Mary Evelyn Peoples. She is survived by her husband of 72 years, John T. Wilkes of Terry, daughter Kay Patterson (Walter) of Terry, 2 grandchildren, Jason Patterson of Starkville, MS & Renee Lewis of Cumming GA., and 6 great grand children. She was an excellent cook, loved to crochet and work in her garden. Visitation will be Friday, 2/12/16 at Chancellor Funeral Home, Byram, MS. from 5:00pm until 8:00pm. Funeral services will be held at First Baptist Church, Terry, Ms. on Saturday, 2/13/16 at 11:00 am. Burial services will follow immediately at Terry Cemetery, Terry, Ms.
